Sinopsis

Dos ex–militantes de izquierda radical se reencuentran para firmar su divorcio. Han pasado 19 años desde que uno de ellos abandonó al otro en circunstancias confusas. Una serie de azares los llevarán ese día a hacer un ajuste de cuentas de su pasado de pareja, pero también político, para descubrirse mutuamente cómo se sienten ahora, en este Perú del siglo XXI que les sigue doliendo.

Two former radical leftist militants reunite to sign their divorce. It has been 19 years since one of them left the other without explanation. They will discuss their romantic and political past, and discover how they feel now, in this Peru of the XXI century, that keeps hurting them.

Festival de Cine de Lima 2016

Joel Calero (Perú, 1968). Su primer largometraje CIELO OSCURO representó al Perú en la selección de los Premios Goya y en los Premios Luis Buñuel (FIPCA). Obtuvo el premio a Mejor Opera Prima Peruana en el 16º Festival de Cine de Lima y se estrenó comercialmente en Perú, Venezuela y España (Casa de América) y en diversos festivales internacionales. Su segundo largometraje, LA ÚLTIMA TARDE / Lo mejor de la burguesía son su vino y sus mujeres obtuvo ayudas de Fundación Carolina & Casa de América (España), DAFO (Ministerio de Cultura del Perú) e Ibermedia. Actualmente, desarrolla su tercer largometraje, LA PIEL MÁS TEMIDA.

Joel Calero (Perú, 1968). His first feature film CUELO OSCURO was Perú’s pick for the Goya and Luis Buñuel (FIPCA) awards. It won the Best First Feature Film award in the 16th Festival de Cine de Lima and premiered commercially in Perú, Venezuela and Spain (Casa de América) while having an International Festival run. Currently, he is developing his third feature film, LA PIEL MÁS TEMIDA.
