Sinopsis

El incendio en la cárcel de San Miguel, ocurrido en el año 2010, dejó a 81 reos muertos. Solo algunos de los registros de este incidente fueron transmitidos en la prensa. Este documental cuenta con un acceso total a los archivos de la carpeta judicial. A través de la reutilización de este material autorizado se pondrá en tensión su calidad de evidencia, ¿cómo y hasta dónde observar los restos de aquel oscuro episodio?

The fire at the San Miguel prison in 2010 left 81 dead prisoners. Only few registers of the incident were available to the press. This documentary has full access to the court record. Through the reutilization of these authorized materials their nature as evidence will be tested. How and how far can we look at the remains of that obscure episode?

Directora y guionista. Se graduó en la Carrera de Cine y Televisión de la Universidad de Chile con máxima distinción. Dirigió el documental autobiográfico “After the Mountains” (2013) y los cortometrajes “La herencia” (2014) y “Tinnitus” (2015) que gana el primer lugar en el concurso internacional de videos de ciudades patrimoniales organizado por la OVPM y la UNESCO. El cielo está rojo es su ópera prima. También es directora del proyecto social “Prisión y Educación” y forma parte de la investigación “Isla de Pascua: Imágenes recuperadas”.

Director and scriptwriter. She graduated from the Film and Television Career at the University of Chilewith maximum distinction. She directed the autobiographical documentary “After the mountains” (2013) and the short films “The inheritance” (2014) and “Tinnitus” (2015) that won first place in the international competition of videos of heritage cities organized by the OVPM and UNESCO. The Sky is Red its her debut feature. She is also the director of the social project “Prison and Education” and is part of the investigation “Easter Island: Images recovered”.
