Una obra teatral que habla sobre los desaparecidos en los años de violencia política en Perú, es llevada a presentar a comunidades andinas. En cada lugar de presentación, la ficción se irá confrontando con la realidad.
A play is presented in some Andean communities. In each place, the fiction will be faced with reality.
Héctor Gálvez, codirigió el largometraje documental “Lucanamarca” que fue estrenado en el IDFA 2008. “Paraíso”, su primer largometraje de ficción tuvo la premier mundial en la sección oficial Orrizonti del festival de Venecia 2009 y recorrió más de treinta festival es alrededor del mundo, ganando premios en los festivales de Huelva, Montreal, Ecuador y Lima. “NN“, su segundo largometraje, tuvo su estreno internacional en el festival de Roma 2014 y ha participado en festival es como Rotterdam, Toulouse, Palm Springs y Cartagena donde obtuvo el premio a mejor director. Paralelamente ha coescrito el largometraje “Retablo”, que tuvo su estreno en el festival de Berlín 2018, obteniendo hasta la fecha más de 35 premios, siendo finalista en los Independent Spirit Award, a mejor película extranjera 2019 y finalista en los premios Bafta a mejor ópera prima 2019. Ha sido también productor ejecutivo de la película “Chicama” y “Autoerótica”.
Héctor Gálvez, co-directed the documentary feature film “Lucanamarca” which was premiered at IDFA 2008. “Paraíso”, his first fiction feature film, had the world premiere in the official Orrizontis ection of the 2009 Venice festival and toured more than thirty festivals around the world, winning prizes in the festivals of Huelva, Montreal, Ecuador and Lima. “NN”, his second feature film, had its international premiere at the 2014 Rome festival and has participated in festivals such as Rotterdam, Toulouse, Palm Springs and Cartagena where it won the award for bestdirector. At the same time, he has co-written the feature film “Retablo”, which had its premiere at the 2018Berlin festival, obtaining to date more than 35 awards, being a finalist in the Independent Spirit Award, for best foreign film 2019 and a finalist in the Bafta awards for best first film 2019. He has also been an executive producer of the films “Chicama” and ‘”Autoerótica”.
